Recycled Bike Bench ProjectDesigned by
Adam Schepker Matt Gifford Sponsored by Keene Green Bikes C&S Whole Sale Hamshaw Lumber Supply Two benches have been created for the Re-Think Marlboro St. Event on September 19th 2015. for more info on the Re-think Marlboro St. event please go here! FPA applied for a $1000 mini grant provided by C&S Wholesale Distributors to carry out this project. Each bench is made from recycled bike parts, and the parts come from the Keene Green Bikes Program which repairs and refurbishes bikes for rental for the Keene library. The seats of the bench were made with all weather Teck board which was donated from Hamshaw Lumber of Keene. These benches will find their final resting homes on Main St. and the bike path come Spring of this year!
